Verena Kyratzes is a writer, artist, actress, director, cook, painter, photographer, singer and cat owner servant. She has co-written and co-directed two successful plays, directed several musicals, and acted in everything from Christmas Pantomimes to Shakespeare. She has also built sets, made costumes and constructed a number of props.

These days she spends most of her time working with her husband, creating graphics for independent computer games like The Strange and Somewhat Sinister Tale of the House at Desert Bridge and the upcoming The Book of Living Magic.

Above all, however, Verena considers herself a writer. She is currently trying to find a home for her first novel and a number of short stories.
